Come and learn how to improvise a murder mystery through character creation, including the role of detective, in order to develop an intriguing story where characters drop clues big and small – as well as the occasional red herring!

You will work as a group around a clear structure to create believable characters, respond spontaneously to new information, and drive the narrative forward, leading the audience to decide whodunnit!

Karen Benjamin is an actor, teacher and improviser who currently plays with Box of Frogs and Breakfast of Champions. She lectures in Drama & Performing Arts where she teaches improvisation & devising.
